With the KfW loan 270, the state favours you when investing in renewable energies, including the planning and installation costs, and offers a low-interest loan.

Individual federal states also promote your photovoltaic system with regional programs in the form of low-interest loans or investment subsidies. In NRW, for example, the funding scheme is called "progres.nrw". Here, the maximum subsidy is currently 75,000 euros (as of 02/2021) and solar thermal systems are subsidised with 90 euros per square metre for a gross collector area of at least five square metres.
